It's your 45th birthday and we all know how wonderful a life you could have had. Tiggy and Jack are here to celebrate your birthday with balloons. Sam will play his heart out tonight to win their first round of hockey semis. You do know that he's being drafted to the NHL in June. Jay and sons and George are all coming to LA for the event. It's going to be so exciting and I know you will be there.
Kennedy's horse had to be ut down on Tuesday so we are sending some balloons up for him. Your niece is devastated by the death of Parker.

Tyler had such an instinct to care and help - a group of us were away in Mexico years ago and an excursion turned a little scary when a storm came up when we were snorkelling at a reef. Tyler brought laughs and levity to the moment to help calm us down. I remember other such interactions where he really listened and tuned into the emotions people were feeling. I worked with him at CIBC - he is remembered fondly.

There were many tough times over the last couple of years of Tyler's life when we were trying to help him deal with his terrible disease. And there have been many more over the last year as the anniversary of each significant event passed. There isn't day goes by without some triggering event or comment or even a quiet moment that gives us cause for remembering what a wonderful man he was. Almost a year has passed since the world lost this bright and powerful light and still the sadness rushes over like a wave. I loved it when the boys would come home to play in the Golf Tournament at-Skeena Valley Golf and Country Club here in Terrace BC. I treated them all including Tyler like my own son. He was one of 'my' boys.
Tyler loved golfing here and spending time with Scott and the boys at the Lake Cabin on Lakelse Lake.
I will miss him so much. We all will.
I cannot imagine what the families must be going through. But please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, during this very difficult time.
