Obituary of James Rae Thurston

Our beloved James passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023, at his home in Toronto. He was 33. James was the cherished son of Rae Thurston (Sarah Darroch) and Elaine Thurston. They join his heartbroken sisters, Kyla McFeat, Kate Thurston (Matt), and Rachelle Thurston (Dan), his uncle Tom McFeat, his niece and nephews Hannah, Dylan, Thomas, William, and Finn, and James’s friends, in mourning the loss of this sensitive young man with the ready smile and unforgettable mop of red hair.

A visitation and celebration of James’s life will take place at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) on Wednesday, April 12 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Bring your favourite stories and memories.
