Friendships were very important to Claudine she fostered and cared for them. Claudine was blessed with many good friends who provided great support to her throughout her life, in particular her “besties” Margaret Clarke and Pat Williams. Our mom was an active person, an avid bridge player, a competitive tennis and badminton player, a swimmer with a profound love for water.

Our moms’ journey with Dementia was challenging, Mom handled her illness as she lived her life:  with grace, and humility with her huge beautiful smile ever present on her face.

We are forever thankful to the staff at Extendicare Port Hope for their tireless and gentle care of our mom. We are especially grateful to moms’ primary caregivers Laurie Dixon and Jennifer Campbell. Both of whom showed our mom love, compassion and kindness every day for the past 16 months.
