We want to express our condolences and we will miss Illonka. In this photo from Suriname she was a little girll who visited my mom and dad and my uncle Anton. On the stairs also her brother Henk, her mom Cor and father Henk (sr.) We only met a few times and it was always bright and very cheerful. She visited my father George Frederik Peng a lot and his partner Yvonne in Wateringen. She brought them joy as well. Thanks Illonka we keep you in our hart.

thank you bea for sending this picture and your memories. i have fond memories of peng myself, mom set up contact when i visited europe my first time in 1988 and uncle peng was more than happy to put my friend and i up for as long as we wanted♥️

Frank and I are deeply saddened to learn of Ilonka’s passing. A friend who was a marvellous story teller,with a terrific sense of humour Ilonka demonstrated tremendous resilience in adversity and showed great courage in difficult times .I will remember with fondness the many fun times that we spent together .

On behalf of the Kenrick Family, Linda, Wendy, Kathy & Mike we would like to extend our deepest condolences to Shawna, Ryan and the entire family...... Ilonka was a very special lady, a very dear friend to us all and we will miss her. She was a classy, hilarious, wise & immensely compassionate and kind lady. We will miss her greatly but, we will never forget her. Rest in Peace Ilonka
