To dear David and Lois
I have no words but will try to express my feelings. I've known a David for 12 years, and worked with him for a number of those years. David was my inspiration, his love for life and for his mom was boundless. Lois, you are the reason why David thrived! I learned so much from both of you. May your many wonderful memories give you comfort in the coming days and weeks. Rest in peace my friend!

I was in the 1st grade with David. When we were 6 years old, he bought me a ring pop and asked me to be his valentine. I guess you could say he was my first "boyfriend". He was always very kind and sweet and though we'd lost touch in recent years, I would see him out in the community when I attended TTC meetings - he always made me feel like no time had passed, giving me hugs hello and a bright smile whenever our paths crossed. That's how I will always remember him, with a smile on his face. He will be dearly missed.
My condolences to his family and friends.

Very sad to hear about this news. David was a tremendous athlete on and off the field, good role model for others, excellent teammate and above all, a nice individual. His sense of positiveness always increased the team's energy level on the field and gave hope during struggling times. As a friend, David was a kind-hearted person who was always there for those who needed him. His level of enthusiasm on life and sports was something that we all loved. Being around David, we all got to learn to see the world a bit brighter. He knew how to make people laugh and have fun. My sincere condolences to David's entire family.

So very sorry Lois for the loss of David. Dan and myself will miss David greatly. We were so very fortunate to meet David at the bowling alley. We had many good times and awesome memories. He never complained and he just got the job done. Once he learned how to play Rumoli he was hooked . He got to know the pay cards right away and how excited he was to get them out. He made the game that much more enjoyable. He made all of our days brighter and everyone looked forward to seeing him.

David was a joy to know! He was a going concern and he was my “go to” guy for anything about Blue Jays. I am so happy I joined him and Lois to a Blue Jay game! I will cherish that memory. He was a very special person who touched many people’s hearts. Rest is peace David after a life well lived thanks to your Mum! xx

I am so saddened to hear of David's passing. He was so kind, funny, and down to earth. He was a hard worker and proud of what he had accomplished at professionally, recreationally, and with his own personal independence - as he should be!
It was impossible not to smile when I was around David - he was awesome to hang out with. He had a great sense of humor and loved with all his heart.
I will really miss you, David.
