I was very sad to hear of Ian's recent passing. It brought back many pleasant memories of skiing with Ian the hills at Georgian Peaks hundreds or maybe thousands of times over about 20 years. I was grateful for his help when I fell & seriously injured my knee. He rushed to get the ski patrol, I descended in a sled & Ian took me to the hospital. He sat with me talking for hours, then took me home. I was shaken up that day & really appreciated his help . We had a great time!
We also whiled away many pleasant hours in the apres ski bar at the club, especially when we discovered that the club had Creemore beer which was new & not widely available at the time.
My sincere condolences to Ian's family.
