Memories of Dale are just fun. Everyone, including myself, enjoyed working with him. He was so creative, and clever, and ever so funny. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and am thankful for the time I spent with him.

I will never forget the 1st day that I met Dale I feel it was a divine intervention. Since that day we had remained as friends. It started as a nurse to patient friendship and grew to a caring friend to friend. I loved Dale he was a genuinely kind,loving, Fiesta and funny spirit. I feel honored to have gotten to know him and Nick. I enjoyed his smile and conversations. I will miss him dearly. Until we meet again I will cherish my memories. We are deeply saddened by the loss of such a vibrant, energetic and loving man as Dale. His laugh carried across the bay to our cottage, as did his jokes and hilarious commentary. Having a drink or chat with Dale and Nick was always a treat and will be sorely missed. He was a fantastic neighbour who became a loved friend. Dale felt like part of our family for so many years. Every event we hosted he brought his wonderful talents to help make it that much better. There was never a day when he was at our place that we didn't share numerous laughs. Our entire family enjoyed his company and his warmth.

I met Dale when we were trainers in the airline world back in the late 80’s. He was in Toronto and I was in Edmonton but our paths crossed many times. Every time I saw him coming I knew my day just got better. We shared many laughs and I missed him so much when our airline days ended. Thankfully I recently had the chance to say hello through Facebook.
Thank you dear Dale for all the wonderful memories and the happiness you brought to all of us. There is a special place for you somewhere now. I will never forget you.

We are devastated by the loss of our sweetie who took care of my family and home for many years like we were his own. We have so many fond memories of coming home to beautiful flowers on our kitchen counter, our parties and family Christmas dinners (where he made my mother laugh all night), Dale posting selfies on FB of himself languishing in our pool (and pretending it was his!), taking my son Kienan for his drivers test (even after Kienan told him ‘I’m the boss of you’!, spoiling our dog Sparkie, people watching and gossiping in the Metro parking lot, and many many hugs and kisses. Dale, you were an honorary member of our family and of Marmot St. We will miss you so much.
