My parents met George and Carol on an HF holiday many years ago. They kept in touch and met up again when Jennifer was undertaking her postgraduate degree in St Andrew’s University. When my husband and I moved to Toronto, they had the opportunity to meet again. They became good friends and enjoyed more holidays together along with dinners and movies when my parents visited Toronto. Myself, my husband John, and my 3 kids also became very fond of them, especially George’s fun and easy going nature. As Scots, we loved his sense of humour. We are all so sad to hear of his passing and will miss him.
