Dear kids and siblings. Peter was a damn good man. I didn't get to know him well until later in life at Thompson Kernaghan. He was surrounded by characters, good ideas and fun and to me, he was an immediate attraction.Over time we enjoyed the success's and failures of markets and marriage. But Peter was always tempered with patience, humour and fidelity. his family and their well being was always of great importance to him. People enjoyed Peter's company. He was an exceptional listener and his popularity at Mad River Golf , was a small testament to his genuine appeal to others. you were very fortunate to have such a lovely man as a brother and a father. I ran into Peter at a meeting in Chiang Mai Thailand in 2016. We stopped for a coffee while on a motorcycle tour one day where I took this shot. I am saddened to hear of his passing... unfortunately our paths hadn’t crossed recently and we never got that round of golf in. My condolences! Paul Davis

Dear Timmins family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. Peter left us far too early. (At his recent pace, he should have had about 30 holes-in-one by the time he was 75!)
From side-by-side lockers in grade 9, to golf this past summer at Mad River, I was blessed with 50 years of Peter’s friendship.
While we will all miss his wit, laughter and smile, he leaves a rich legacy of fond memories.
My thoughts are with you.
Jim Houston

To Peter's family, the Timmins siblings and their children,
Unfortunately, we all live on life's terms. The Fitzpatrick family had and continues to have, a life long connection love and friendship with the Timmins family, sharing our lives from birth on. It was to our sincere benefit and privilege. Peter will be greatly missed and I send our heartfelt prayer filled condolences for your loss. I have lived in the U.S. for sometime and had not seen Peter for awhile, but thought of him (Michael, Mary Jane, Paul, Patrick and Boo) often and was aware of how he was through our large group of Toronto friends.
While this is clearly a terribly sad time for the family, I am happy that Peter's pain has ended. His was a life well lived and I will smile at each memory every time I think of him.
Sincerely,
Geoff Fitzpatrick

To Peter’s family. I’m so sorry to hear of Peter’s death. My deepest condolences to you all. I always felt so happy to see Peter. He was genuine, caring and kind and always told me how proud he was of his children. You were the apple of his eye which lit up when he spoke of you. Clearly he was loved.

Absolutely in shock seeing this. Peter was one of my favorite people from my Bellwood years. Couldn't help to smile whenever I saw him. I was looking forward to seeing him at the next Conference. Simply a very good man. Rest in peace Peter....but way too soon. Bill Turvey
