I've had the pleasure to learn about Mineko through my years of working with her daughter Tomomi. When Tomomi told me stories of Mineko's courage in the face of cancer I often got a smile on my face and felt the warm fuzzies. Hearing about her cooking, her exercise routines, and her last years with her family taught me about her strength of spirit. I know Mineko beat cancer for many years beyond the doctor diagnosis and I'm very proud of her.
