Hubert Kinkartz

September 16, 1933 – March 24, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hubert Kinkartz.  An incredibly loving and devoted family man, he will be dearly missed by Trudy, his wife of 56 years, his daughter Heidi, and his son Peter and his wife, Janice and their children, Alexandra and John, whom he adored.  He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Hubert lived a full life that was not without hardship.  Challenges experienced early in life taught him to be strong and resilient, yet gentle and empathetic.  He had a huge and kind heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand – whether for family, friends or neighbours.  He very much enjoyed creating a beautiful garden and the nurturing that went with it.  Most especially and to the very end, he loved his early morning coffee and basking in the sunshine.  We will miss the twinkle in his eye and the beauty of his smile. Schlaf gut, Dad, und träum was schönes.

A visitation will take place on Sunday March 27, 2022 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville), Toronto.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Parish, 200 Morrish Road, Scarborough, Ontario.
