To the Mars family members,
I am saddened by Patrick’s passing.
Your Dad was a wonderful gentleman, engaged and wise Board Director who offered his friendship and generous advice to new Yamana board members like me.
Because we were both from Montreal and McGill Grads, he always had great stories to share, and I should say, was so proud of both of you as well as of his grandchildren. Patrick was a great listener who showed empathy and consideration for others’ viewpoints and welcomed different and gender diverse perspectives around the table.
Accept my sincere condolences and comforting thoughts.
