'Pops'. That's what I called him and that's how I knew him. I met him on July 26, 1975. I was 18. He and Patty made me feel part of the family; 63 Lympstone, weekends at Sturgeon Point, Christmas, working for him at The Conroy, Malloney's, DJ's and parking cars at The ERL's Court. (Sorry about the damage to the Eldorado Pops. At least the Jags weren't damaged during the race.) He was always there for me; kind, supportive and understanding. Through Barb I had the opportunity to reconnect with him and Patty in Florida a few years ago. We all reminisced and ate lunch together. He made a difference in my life - a big difference. My deepest sympathy to the family. Hope to see you all in the summer.
