Mom DéBuc, you will be missed very much! You had such a good heart and a love for your family and life in general. Your smile could light up a room, when I last saw you (only 2 weeks ago) and your health was on a rapid decline, you still managed to give me a huge smile - that will forever be etched in my mind & in my heart. I am so glad that Michael & I had that visit together with you. Thanks for years of your wonderful cooking - no one could whip up rice 'n peas & oxtail soup like you. You were always feeding people and making a celebration out of the smallest things. It was always a fun time when we got together and celebrated West Indian style! We shared so much with one another, on the phone we would talk for hours without even realizing the time had flown by - you made that easy conversation. In closing, I share these words of comfort... You can shed tears that she is gone.. .OR you can smile because she has lived! You can close your eyes and pray she’ll come back... OR you can open your eyes and see all she’s left for you to see. Your heart might feel empty because you can’t see her... OR you can be happy for tomorrow because she is no longer suffering and is at peace with the Lord. You can cry and close your mind or turn your back... OR you can do what she’d want: smile, open your eyes, love, and go on! Thoughts and prayers to the entire DéBuc family, you have gained a beautiful Guardian Angel to watch over you forevermore. She rests with Liz, Patricia and your dad in Heaven’s Kingdom. RIP Mom xo God Bless you all! Love, Debbie, Richard, Braeden Piché
