My condolences to the family as you mourn the loss of your wife/mum/grandma. I worked with Andrea at Four Seasons for more than 35 years and we both had our first daughters around the same time, and similarly our first grandchild. We compared notes and had some good laughs about our growing families but I always think of her kindness, her smiles. She was a hidden gem.
Karen Welch.

This photo of Andrea was taken with a number of her closest colleagues from Four Seasons Hotels. Many of us in the picture worked with Andrea for 20 years or more. The group is at the annual Precious Gems charity event - Tea for Two.
Andrea was one of those rare people who got along with virtually all of her co-workers - it was her superpower. And everyone liked and respected her. She was a kind, compassionate, warm-hearted and gentle soul - but she was also hard working, competent, conscientious and committed. Newer employees in the office would often take their questions and issues to Andrea because she was always helpful without being critical. She was patient and supportive. In fact, even though Andrea was an excellent Supervisor, she decided to step back from management to pursue an alternate career because disciplining people was at odds with her empathetic sensibilities.
I liked Andrea tremendously and I admired her. I extend my heartfelt sympathies to her family and loved ones.

I’ve known their family for years, since I was a child and went to school with Rhea. Andrea was always so kind, caring and so thoughtful. That’s how I remember her. I had the chance to catch up with her while shopping at Loblaws with my mom in 2015 and she talked non-stop about her daughters, that Rhea was pregnant and that her husband was doing well. She was still the kind and gentle woman I remembered all those years ago as a little girl. You were an angel, Andrea and will be missed. My condolences to Rhea, Kirra, Ken, William, Bentley and the rest of the family xx

My thoughts and sympathies are with the family at this sad time.
Andrea was part of our monthly "gourmet group ". We have eaten in many fine restaurants in Toronto and the Niagara Wine Region. We even went to Cuba for our monthly dinner.
Andrea was one of the kindest and calmest people I have ever met and so much fun.
Rest in Peace Andrea.
