A memorial service was held at the Chapel of St. James-the-Less, Toronto, on August 30, 2021, at 2:00 PM, in honor of Madge Elizabeth Rusz. Cellist Joel Tangjerd, affiliated with St. James' Cathedral, Toronto, initiated the memorial with his beautiful playing of J.S. Bach’s Cello Suite No.1 in G Major, BWV 1007, 1. Prelude. The Reverend David Bousfield, of St. James' Cathedral, Toronto, officiated at the memorial service, with readings from the Book of Common Prayer and his own remarks about Madge’s wonderful life. The service was attended by Madge’s immediate family members.
