MADGE ELIZABETH RUSZ

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Madge (“Liddy,” “Grandma”) on August 25, 2021 at the age of 91.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Nicholas of 47 years.

Devoted, generous, wonderful mother of daughters Mary Elizabeth of Manhattan, NY, and Kathryn Madge Ortner (Richard) of Toronto, Ontario.  Adored grandmother of Isabelle Victoria Rusz Ortner.  Predeceased by her son Mark Gregory. 

Fondly remembering many happy holidays spent at our family chalet in Montebello, Quebec.

Madge was a partner in her husband’s firm, Nicholas Rusz & Associates Ltd., Consulting Engineers, Toronto, Ontario, until retiring in 1996.

She will be greatly missed by her family, and her many relatives and friends in both Canada and the United States.

A private family service was held at St. James-the-Less, Toronto.
