Maca,Macuska,Baratnom, szepasszony….these were the regular names we called you for the past 52 years.
You also deserved to be called Florence Nightingale ,nursing and caring for your sister Ibi,your husband Lali ,your aunt,
Etus neni,brother-in-law Zoltan and countless friends and neighbours in need.
We could have also called you Martha Stewart (without a jail sentence) for being a talented gardener and a first class hostess.
You loved to gather your family and friends around you during the holidays to shower them with food and love.
You were so many things to so many people.
To me ,you were also my dear friend.we were always there for each other- in joy and sorrow. There was never any need to ask for help.We sensed each other’s needs to speak or just hold hands.
And again,I senses that you wish me to send a message to Kriszti who has always been the centre of your universe.
You never got the chance to thank her for the relentless love and care she provided to you for the last 6 years allowing you to
Spend your last months and years at home and avoid your worst fear of ending up in a nursing home.
You would want me to express your gratitude and how happy and proud you were of what a wonderful ,,loving young lady she
became.
“Shorty “,I feel your pain, I know it seems dark now, but your mom’s shining star will break through these clouds to always guide you
and keep the happy memories alive. We love You.And we loved your Mother.Rest in peace Maca.
