Dear Paul and Laura
I am sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of your Mom, especially when we were neighbours in Hoggs Hollow. So many parties and fun times we shared together in the valley. Your mother was there for me when my father died and I'll never forget how she helped me through that tough time.
She was lucky to have you both in her life to provide care, love and support through both good and bad times.
Thinking of you both at this difficult time.
Much love

Dear Paul and Laura
I am so sad to hear of Anne’s passing and send my condolences to the whole family. Anne was indeed a giant in her field of development work and as a trainer/mentor to so many at the COC. What fond memories of have of those years where we strived to grow and learn the best practices in our new found profession. Under Anne’s high standards one really had to work especially hard to gain her respect and approval- we always checked to see whether she scrutinized us through the top or bottom half of her glasses. She was a hard but fair judge and that integrity produced so many fine fundraisers that made their mark on the NFP sector.
And she was generous to each and every one of her young protégés. There were wonderful social gatherings at Hogs Hollow where laughter and good times were always in store.
As a family you can all be proud of your mom as she was so proud of you. May she Rest In Peace after her long struggle with pain.
With much love and sadness...

Dear Paul,
My heart goes out to you and your family. May it be of comfort to know that the extraordinary work your mom did will live on in so many ways. Just to name a few: in the causes that she helped nourish and grow, in the professional and ethical way that fundraising professionals do their work, and in the hearts and minds of people like me who admired her and considered her a role model. Your mom was an inspiration to me in so many ways. But in particular, her enthusiasm for the arts was an example in my career choices. And for that, I will be always so grateful. I loved that your mom was serious about work, but she never took herself so seriously that she couldn't enjoy a laugh -- in fact she generated many with her wonderful sense of humour and her, at times, delightfully devilish observations! There are several that I frequently quote -- always giving proper credit to the amazing Anne Moore. We will not forget her, and again, may this knowledge help you and your family during this difficult time.

Paul James and all the family. I can only say the I am sorry at your loss, but I also know that Anne is at peace and out of the pain and suffering she was experiencing. My first experience with Anne was when I rented an apartment to Mary Moore and we became fast friends, especially around the bridge table. It didn't take long for Mary to introduce Anne to the group and we played most Thursday nights. She was elegant, charming and had a wonderful sense of humour. She also played bridge very well.
I helped with interior design work in her condo and we had time to relax and become good friends.
I admired her Career choices and her successes. Paul I know you will miss her terribly - you were so kind during her last years.
Rest Anne - l know you are at peace.
My condolences to all the family. Brenda Burak

My sincere condolences. Anne was a force in fundraising in Toronto. She always had time to speak with me and was a mentor to me as well. I always enjoyed our trips next door to Jamie Kennedy’s restaurant for fries and a drink! She will be greatly missed by the entire AFP community.

Dear Paul:
I am so sorry to hear of Anne's passing. She lived life to the fullest, and you supported her in every way possible during these last years with your great care, humour and positivity.
Anne is a true legend in the fundraising community - transferring her skills as a super volunteer to become a trailblazer in the earliest days of our profession. I owe everything to your mom - giving me my first job at the Canadian Opera Company and mentoring me for four years. Encouraging me to volunteer for AFP and to get my CFRE. She then gave me the greatest opportunity to work alongside her in her consulting business for five years.
I fondly remember our lunch at the condo in December 2019 and letting her know how important she was to me.
Anne's leadership, creativity, guts and determination changed the face of fundraising in this country. She put me on the path of philanthropy and I am forever grateful to have had her in my life.
With greatest sympathy to you, your sister and family.
Love, Diana Reitberger
