Obituary of Brendan O'Friel

A life well lived but far too short. It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Brendan O’Friel on January 13th, 2021. A loving husband to Marian and a devoted father to Kate.

He is survived by his siblings Shirley (Eammon), Patrick (Margaret), Anne (Declan), his identical twin John (Bea), Yvonne (Paul) and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Donegal, Ireland, he lived in London and Boston before immigrating to Toronto. Brendan had a love for life, eternal optimism and an Irish sense of humour that served him well.

His life was filled with an abundance of experiences and he developed many friendships along the way. He will be greatly missed by all.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a private memorial gathering will be held on January 24, 2021. A Celebration of Life held at a later date.
