Obituary of Noreen Turnbull

It is with deep sadness that the family of Noreen Turnbull announce Noreen’s passing on Wednesday, January 06, 2021 at the age of 55. She died peacefully in her sleep at her residence in Toronto after a year-long battle with brain cancer.

Noreen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of thirty-one years, Andrew, and their beautiful daughters Hannah and Emily. She will also be forever fondly remembered by her father Frank Smith, her brother Eugene and predeceased brother Shevlin, sister Phyllis Wells, nephews Christian, Sebastian, Liam and niece Robin.

Her many friends and colleagues remember Noreen for her kind, forthright personality and especially for her quick sense of humour. Many were inspired by her dedication to her career educating children as a DECE, her enjoyment of long-distance running, art and music.
