Obituary of Isobel K. Ganton

Peacefully, Isobel passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in her 91st year.  She leaves behind her brother John (Doris), nephew Colin (Sonja), niece Sharon (David) and five great-nephews and nieces.  Isobel will be profoundly missed by her first cousin and best friend, Kathryn Anderson, Kathryn’s four children and their families.  As a Historical Geographer, Isobel devoted her life to education, world travel and summers at her cottage on the Bruce Peninsula.   She will be especially missed by the many friends she made and maintained throughout her life.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated in lieu of flowers.    Condolences may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
