Going back many, many years when Ken's Dad, Garnet DeWolf married Barb White, a dear family friend, I had the pleasure of meeting Ken, Garnet's son when visiting with his Dad and Barb at their home in Leaside.
We" HILL" kids..... my late twin sister Carol, brother Michael and I (Pat) grew up with Barb's kids, Cathie and John White. Ken was their step-brother.
I remember Ken as being a good looking dapper fellow, a little older than me (by 4 years). He was such a pleasant, well mannered and polished young gentlemen, it is no wonder he had a fabulous 35 year career as a Trade Commissioner with our Canadian Government. A perfect fit I would say. You did us Canadians proud Ken.
I was saddened to read of Ken's death in the Toronto Star on Saturday, Dec.19th and would like to extend my sincerest sympathy to Ken's wife, Judith, his family whom I've never had the pleasure of meeting and Cathie and John White.
Although it's been years since I seen you both Cathie & John, please know my thoughts are with you at this sad time. Reading Ken's obituary brought back many fond memories of days gone and growing up in Leaside with you both.
