Obituary of Ian Donald Graham
It is with great sadness that Morag and her family and Ian's family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Ian. He passed away on August 17, 2020 of cardiac arrest at home with his loving partner, Morag.
Ian was born January 1, 1958 in Birmingham England and came to Canada at a young age with his parents, Bill and Cathy and his younger sister Lindsey. Ian who grew up in Leaside here in Toronto, went on to work in the music and television industry that shaped his career in front of and behind the camera. Ian also had a career in marketing, and eventually became founder and senior partner of Global Food Alliances with Morag and was passionate about and worked hard to grow the business.
After his battle with cancer a few years ago Ian met the love of his life, Morag. Together they travelled extensively and always made the time to stay a little longer in their homelands of England and Scotland. They both enjoyed the company of many friends and family. Ian loved to fish and also became an avid photographer. He loved to look out his home office window each day at Lake Ontario and marvel at how lucky he was to have such a wonderful view of the lake and see the activity of the lake at his doorstep.
Ian was always the life of the party and known to many as a loveable rogue. He had a great sense of humour and loved to make people laugh. He was well read on history and politics which always made him a great conversationalist.
Ian who is pre-deceased by his parents, leaves behind his loving partner Morag, his sister Lindsey and her husband Eric, his beloved auntie Pat and close cousins Della and Buster, their spouses and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be most grateful if donations could be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
