Dearest Emily, Joel and family.
I've been struggling to send this message to you as once I do, I have to accept the fact that your Mom is truly gone. I actual prefer to think of her doing one of her favourite things - travelling. Perhaps being at her place in Vero Beach or visiting some far off exotic land. Not only was your Mom a wonderful friend but she was also a mentor to me and I will dearly miss our visits and chats. She was kind, generous, thoughtful, smart and fun-loving. I know how much she loved you and I know you must all miss her terribly. The wonderful memories of her will keep her close to your hearts.
