When i started my first Job, James took me under his wing and helped me become the person I am today. I am extremely grateful to have met him and am saddened to hear the news. He had a hugely positive impact on me and all those around him.
Favourite memory? Something about rubber ducks, permanent markers, and a few too many pints....
My condolences to Amanda and Oliver.

I don't really have the words to express my sympathies or shock. My thoughts are with you, Oliver and everyone who loved James. I always found James to be a sweet, funny and thoughtful person. Such a tragic loss. Much love Catherine

My favourite memory of James is running with him and Oliver (in a baby jogger) in his first 5km race. The world has lost a lovely human. So sad that he is gone so soon.

I worked with James a long time, but I still remember him as a great colleague and a wonderful human being. I am utterly shocked by this news. Our condolences to you and your family.

Deepest sympathies to James’s friends and family. I went to school with him and lost touch until a couple of years ago. Met him in a garden centre in the UK by chance with his parents and his son. RIP James.

James was part of our family for many years, he was part of my son's group of friends who spent a lot of time in our basement. He was with us for the X-Mass parties with our family, ski trips, ... We will remember his humor and his intelligence. We will miss him.

I’m shocked. I hired James at the early stage of gameloft toronto studio. We worked closely. He was very reliable and fun to work with. Very sad. All my sympathies to his friends and family.

I was one of the housemates that shared the farmhouse in Harlow when we both worked for Nortel. I enjoyed sharing the house with James, we played computer games, went to the pub and overall had a bit of a laugh.
I remember going to see the Mighty Horse band with him in London, we had a great night out and manged to get back to Harlow after navigating the perils of the big city.
At that time James was aiming to be a game developer which he achieved, he was very bright and I miss him. I miss being able to look onto Steam and see what he was playing,it was usually something that was good too.
I am sorry for your loss Amanda and Oliver, I am also incredibly sorry for Paul, Sue and David who have also lost a wonderful son and brother.
My thoughts are with you all.
