I was saddened to learn of Jim's death. I have. Known him for close to 65 years. We first met in the fall of 1954 when we were in the same class in the Junior School, Trinity College School Port Hope. He had been at the school for a couple of years, so I looked to Jim to show me the ropes. We were in the same class for 7 years, so we got to know each other reasonably well.
After we graduated, our paths would cross from time to time, sometimes expected, often unexpected. I always enjoyed being in his company, and talking with him. He enjoyed talking about his church work. On occasion, because of his increasing blindness, I would drive him at TCS alumni events.
Jim, may you rest in peace, and rise, with Christ, in glory.
