The photo of Peggy is just how I remember her. As a youngster growing up in Hensall, attending school and church with Peggy, I admired her confidence, her beautiful, friendly smile and bright sparkling eyes. She has touched the lives of so many people and will always be remembered.

Dear Dennis and family,
My mom (Sherry) and I send you our deepest condolences. When I attended Sunny View, Peg was the school's vice-principal. My mom remembers working with Peg when Peg later became its principal. She served both those roles well. May she rest peacefully.

We first met Peg Mock when our son, Robert, was attending a model Board of Education special needs kindergarten preparatory program at Grace Street Public School in the west end of Toronto. We immediately fell in love with Peg’s commitment to special education, talent in working with others and her leadership skills. This motivated us to send our son to Sunnyview School on Blythwood Ave where Peg was the Principal. At Sunnyview School Peg was an inspiration through her acceptance, appreciation, advocacy and hard work for special needs children. Parents could always depend on her professionalism, loyalty and good humour.
Thank you for everything Peg. We will always remember you.

Peg was a beautiful woman with an infinite degree of class and gentility. Her love for children and their welfare shone through every day. I was blessed to work with and for her during her years at SunnyView. Her ongoing encouragement to be the best version of yourself everyday was what I most admired. She always recognized her hard working and dedicated staff. She was always present to the children and her door was always open.
I was lucky enough to reconnect with Peg a few years ago when we visited in her home. Nothing about who she was had changed. She smiled and laughed as we shared pictures and memories. I will hold those moments in my heart forever.
Dennis, there are no words to ease the pain and emptiness that you feel at this time. Your love for Peg and your dedication to her carried her through the difficult times. I pray that the memories of all the wonderful times you shared over the years will nourish your spirit and carry you through. God bless you and keep you. I look forward to seeing you for Peg's memorial service. There will be tears but lots of smiles at moments shared, remembered and treasured.

Peg was a wonderful woman and highly professional. She was a former colleague of mine who I learned much about special education needs during my time as a principal. She was seriously dedicated and highly accessible to seek advice when needed. I enjoyed my association with her professionally and sad to hear about her passing.
