Saddened to hear of Aunt Karen's passing, had no idea she was that ill. My memories of her are of a welcoming and warm hearted woman who opened her home to me when I was visiting Toronto many moons ago, and of a boundlessly supportive Mom to her boys. She was so proud of them all! To cousins Mark, Michael and Jason, thinking of you, and to Uncle Gregg, stay strong. Love and hugs.

Hello to all Karen's family at this sad time.
Karen your wonderful Mom was not only my classmate but we were great friends. We holidayed at Hall's Lake the summer of "61. Karen was in my wedding party In Iron Bridge./Blid River. in August of 1962.
I recall going to your place years ago and having a race with Jason about 10years old, my knee buckled and i stumbled and guess who won?
She would stop in at our summer cottage on Lake Duborne back of Blind River on her Northern trips. We both had busy lives she had you 3 boys and worked as did I with 2 boys and 2 girls all married with families also. We weren't the best at keeping in touch these past few years except at our Nurses reunions.
We had a great visit at our reunion at the Quattro in the Sault. She was very courageous in the face of her disease but she made the most of that visit with everybody.
I know I have another Angel to call on, it's you she will hear, so keep her in your prayers.

You have my deepest sympathy. Karen and I had a great visit at the last reunion.
There is a saying that when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. I will treasure my memories of Karen.
