Obituary of Josephine Marney

JOSEPHINE MARNEY
 

Passed away peacefully at Fountain View on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.  Beloved aunt of Marilyn Nakeff, Gail Kingerski, Diane Evans and Joanne Pearen.  Predeceased by nieces and nephew Susan, Marney and David Pearen.

During her years of employment Jo was a Research Director for two advertising agencies and the Magazine Association of Canada.  She was proud to be selected a Fellow of the Professional Marketing Research Society and was listed in The World’s Who’s Who of Women.

On retirement she was a freelance writer for twenty years for Marketing Magazine and five years for the Globe and Mail travel section. 

The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) for a funeral service on Monday, September 24^th at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.  A reception will be held in the funeral home with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery to follow.
