JOAN MARY MILLWARD

(nee Knipe)

Died peacefully of Alzheimer’s disease on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in her 96th year. Born to William James Knipe and Edith Mary Knipe (nee Denison) of Kenora, Ontario, she was a long-time resident of Midtown Toronto with her husband of 50 years, Ronald Frederick Millward (d. 2003). She had a long and successful career as a schoolteacher with the Toronto Board of Education, notably at Parkdale Public School, where she imparted a high standard of excellence among her students.  Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com
