Obituary of Kerry Lee Kalm
KERRY LEE KALM
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kerry Lee Kalm in Aurora, Ontario on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the young age of 54. Kerry Lee was loved deeply by her family and many friends. Loving mother of Will, Alexa and Natalie who will miss her dearly. Loved daughter of Leone and Toomas Kalm (deceased) and sister to John (Anette) and David (Kristina). Missed dearly by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Born in Strathroy, Ontario and raised in Glencoe and Thornhill, Ontario, she lived in Toronto, Gormley and Aurora. Kerry Lee obtained degrees from Queen’s University (Hons. B.Sc.), University of Alberta (LL.B.) and London School of Economics (LL.M.). Kerry Lee spent most of her career with the Ministry of the Attorney General as a devoted crown attorney committed to the principle of fundamental justice.
Kerry Lee was committed to her ideals and was passionate for her family and friends, antiques, auction sales and bargain hunting, the cottages up north, gardening and recently “The Voice” television program. She loved her Labradoodle “Cocoa” and her cats “Bee”, “Hunter” and “Shadow”. Kerry Lee made a tremendous contribution to the lives of many family, friends and colleagues and will be forever remembered by those whose lives she touched.
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Friday, July 27 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church, 817 Mount Pleasant Road, on Saturday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.
