So sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I met Carol (and Glenn) in 1964 when we were both training as medical technologists in Hamilton. Many great memories of our year at the Moreland Residence. Really enjoyed reconnecting several years ago when Carol initiated a 50th Anniversary of our graduating class. She was a wonderful lady. My condolences to Glenn and his family.

I had the privilege of knowing Carol as a friend and colleague from my early years as a new technologist in the lab at St. Michael's Hospital through more than two decades at The Michener Institute. Even post retirement, when she wasn't off travelling and enjoying new adventures, Carol continued to contribute to her profession. She returned to Michener and worked tirelessly to secure placements for Canadian work experience for internationally educated medical laboratory technologists. Her efforts helped open the door to a new life in Canada for many. You will be missed, Carol, but never forgotten. Rest in peace.
With deepest sympathy to Glenn, David, Cindy and families.

When I first met Glenn's girlfriend, Carol, I was a very young boy, but I can still remember how impressed I was. She was enchanting. Her beautiful dark eyes sparkled as she laughed and smiled, which she did easily and often, and Glenn, well, he was over the moon. I'd seen my uncle have plenty of fun, on many occasions, but I'd never seen him as proud and delighted as he was to have this charming, warm-hearted, angel in his life. Fortunately, for Glenn, and for all of us who love her so much, that's where Carol stayed.

I first met Carol when she was my teacher at the Michener Institute in 1990. I listened, as a student, to stories of coagulation discoveries, setting the pass mark for the national certification exams at CSMLS, and her journey through higher education as an adult learner. She will forever remain a role model for thousands in the field of medical laboratory science.

Dear Glenn, David, Cindy and families
Please accept our sincere condolences. Carol's obituary was beautifully written and painted a picture of the friendly, thoughtful and caring person she was. We were fortunate to have known Carol as a neighbour and friend for 37 years and have many fond memories of her.
We remember her welcoming us as new neighbours on Lockmere Terrace, her supporting Cindy as a new babysitter of our kids Bryan and Laura, her strong work ethic and the fun she had in retirement and travelling with Glenn. We will especially remember how proud she was of all of you and how much she loved you. The trip you all shared for her 70th was an adventure she held dear; she treasured those family photos!
We will miss her and know that Our Book Club will feel lost without her.
Carol and Eric
