I'm thinking of the Barton family at this difficult time, and fondly remembering Mr. Barton and how fun and kind he was when Lisa and I were active and adventurous children playing in the neighbourhood. He drove us all over the place in the station wagon! I loved his warmth, quick wit, big smile and great laugh. He sure loved his house of girls and was so proud of you all! I am very saddened to hear of your loss and will always remember your wonderful father's kindness.

Dear Joan and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Don's death. I know he has not been well for a while. I have known Don since grade school and enjoyed getting back to having him as a friend--and getting to know you--these past twenty years.We have hd a lot of good times together, haven't we Joan--both in TO and Florida.
I am sorry I can't be with you, but I am still in Florida this spring. I will call when I get home.
