Victoria (Vicki) Catherine Poirier

Vicki Poirier, at the age of 62, of Thornbury, Ontario, passed away on January 21st, 2018.

Vicki was born in Montreal, Quebec on April 27th, 1955. She graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Dietetics. She had a career promoting health education as a registered dietician for the Halton Region in Ontario and then the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in New Brunswick. Vicki loved playing tennis and golf, as well as playing and teaching bridge. She also loved spending time with family and friends.  Vicki will be lovingly remembered by her husband, and best friend, of 45 years, Steven; her daughters Christine (Peter) and Carolyn (Paul); her mother Suzanne; and sisters Beverly (Andrew) and Helen (Bob). She is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of long-time friends. Vicki was predeceased by her father Frank Burton.  A service will be held on Thursday, January 25^th in HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) at 4 p.m., with Reverend Grayhame Bowcott of St. George’s Anglican Church officiating.
