Patrick Ernest Le Feuvre
1923-2017
Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre following a stroke. Patrick was a devoted husband to Anne (nee Connolly), and a loving father to Michael (Annalee), Catherine (David), Susan, and Andrew (Elaine). Adored Grandad to Graeme (Gabi) and Hilary Anderson; Andrew, Shannon and Laura Harrison; and Jackie and Matts Le Feuvre. Patrick was born on July 2, 1923 in Calcutta, India. He was educated at Taunton School in Somerset, and earned a B. Comm. at the London School of Economics. He served as Second Lieutenant with the 17th/21st Lancers (seconded to the Indian Army) from 1942-46. He immigrated to Canada in 1954 and met and married the love of his life, Anne, in Montreal on May 2, 1959. Patrick retired as an executive officer of Canadian Pacific Enterprises Limited at age 62. He was a past warden of Christ Church Deer Park, a member of the B&R, a world traveler and an avid sportsman. He loved tennis, squash, running and skiing, and spending summers at Ste. Agathe, Stoney Lake and Sydenham Lake. Patrick was, foremost, a family man and a great friend to many.
The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Thursday, November 30th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral in CHRIST CHURCH DEER PARK, 1570 Yonge Street, on Friday, December 1st at 11:00 a.m. with a reception at the church to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Princess Margaret Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation, Trillium Health Partners or Christ Church Deer Park.
