Today I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Diane's passing. I knew Diane as a "swim mom" and we shared many conversations together as we supported our kids (Bryan and Jaclyn) in the competitive swim world. Though I only knew Diane for a short while she impressed me as a devoted and caring mom who would do anything for her kids. I always enjoyed speaking with her and sharing our stories and frustrations. I know Diane will be deeply missed and I am so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Scovell, I was very sad to hear this news. I had immediate flashbacks to hours and hours of ballet lessons with Diane during our little Centennial years and playing in your backyard and singing in the church choir together! Sometimes we would laugh so hard that Ross Brock had to stop practice till we could get our laughter under control. I remember us passing notes back and forth in Grade 6, and when we were caught, Diane gave such an eloquent explanation that the teacher decided to not give us a detention. As adults, I always liked seeing Diane in church at Christmas time. I hope that all of your good memories bring you and the children some comfort at this difficult time. Regards, Roslyn Christie

Jaiden has always told us how nice and kind she was to him and although we did not get to know your mother well we will always remember how kind and thoughtful she was to our son and the times we did speak she was always full of Joy, and pride at having such amazing children and we could see how much she loved you all.
