Obituary of Andrew William Johan Moffat

Surrounded by his family, Andrew passed away in Vancouver on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the age of 53.  Beloved son of Ernest and Ingrid, cherished brother of Carin Jennifer (husband, Mark), super hero to his niece Isabella and proud father to Kyle.  He will be deeply missed by all, including his extended family in Sweden and Scotland, his wonderful friends and the Air Canada family he was part of for more than 30 years.  Originally from Toronto, Andrew was a Maple Leaf fan his whole life.  A talented artist and gifted drummer.  Andrew travelled the world and relished every new experience.  He always had a smile on his face, kindness in his heart, and the wit to keep you laughing.  He touched so many lives and never expected anything in return other than our promise to be good to ourselves and to each other.  We will miss your beautiful warrior heart and laugh.

The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28th.  A service will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 3:00 p.m.  Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.
