Dear Liz and David: I am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. He was a wonderful person who took pride in everything he did. You will miss your long time partner Liz and loving father David. Terry and I plus the entire gang (John, Chris, Fred, Alex and Tom) all did crazy things together in high
school but then what else would teenagers do! I am so grateful to have known him and his family and thanks to his Mom and him, I am still whacking that little white dimpled ball around the golf course!
Thinking of you,
Linda

Terry & Liz have had an enormous impact in the “Canadianization” of the Uys family. Terry invited us to join the Aquarians, where we spent 10 years meeting many wonderful new friends and helping Moorlands with fund raising and camp maintenance, while having a blast. They too introduced us to Port Cunnington, where we are about to have our 15 visit in a couple of weeks. Terry and I, through our friendship at Loblaws travelled the world, and I was especially happy taken him to visit my friends in South Africa.
A wonderful person.
Much love
Paul & Alison

I am so sorry to hear about Terry's passing. I enjoyed working with him at Loblaws and golfing with him at Islington. While we haven't seen each other for a few years he was always a friend to me and a true gentleman. The last time I saw him he gave me a broad smile and firmly shook my hand as he always did. My condolences to Liz and David on your loss. Our friend Jim Graham has also asked me to pass along his sincere condolences. Jim knew Terry very well as they travelled and worked together on Walmart's Sam's Choice product development for Loblaws. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

Dear Liz, David and the Couttie Family
As a member of Islington Golf Club and where I had the pleasure of meeting Terry, I wanted to send my deepest condolences. Terry was all heart; very polite and always had such a positive attitude towards Islington and it's membership. I enjoyed a few rounds of golf with Terry over the years and always admire his outlook on may topics. He will be fondly missed by many of us at Islington Golf Club.

Liz and David,
It is difficult to know what words to say to bring comfort to you and I have come to realize that there aren't any. Terry was a good and classy man who worked hard and was competitive in his career and in his sports. He knew what he wanted and how to make it happen just as he knew how to have a good family life with you. He clearly loved you both and would not have wanted to leave you with just your memories. He was fighting for you and himself to battle his disease. It cannot be considered fair and life is very difficult sometimes.
Your friends and family are here for you as Fin and I are. We love you and send our deepest condolences to you both and to all of your family members.

My heartfelt condolences to all of you on the passing of Terry. I knew him from the golf club and we had many good games together.
Terry was a very quiet man who spoke softly and he was always very interested in what one had to say, he will be missed as he was very well respected by all of the people he touched at Islington.
