Obituary of Gary Mathew Hoag

HOAG, Gary “Hoagie”

Suddenly in Inglewood, doing what he loved, on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in his 65th year.  Beloved husband of Renate.  Cherished by his daughter Michelle Del Balso (Christopher), his soon to be born grandson, and his daughter Kally.  Gary will be missed by his sister Carol Eaton, her daughter Vanessa Eaton (Steve Acken) and their children, as well as his many family and friends in Toronto and in Germany.  Predeceased by his parents Sam and Jean Hoag, his parents-in-law Rudy and Inga Guenther and his brother-in-law Peter.  The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 21st.  The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, June 22nd at 1:00 p.m.  If desired, donations to The Arthritis Society, 393 University Avenue, Suite 1700, Toronto M5G 1E6 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 2300 Yonge Street, Suite 1300, Toronto M4P 1E4 would be appreciated.  Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.
