I met Jack back in 1968 when he was the Manger of the Toronto F&I branch. It was he that hired me. When I was in Basic Training, September, 1968, Jack came by to see me to tell me he was joining SDL in Ottawa.
He was a fine Guy, and I respected him very much - I did get to see him from time to time at IBM Reunions, but not near enough.
My condolences to the Family and also to Chris, in the loss of a dear friend.
