My dear Don and my beloved departed Lori... Know that I haven't written earlier because my Kheart is absolutely broken! After a 50 year relationship (sure giving up our ages...!), it will be difficult not to be able to have our weekly (...and more!) chats. Your compassion, your sense of humour, your generosity, your friendship, YOU as a whole is leaving me lost... you are/were a Queen and are undoubtedly keeping everyone around you, wherever that is, happy like you always made me! Remember that you promised to check in with me and know you will be in my heart forever, even though a piece is already missing.
Don, we know that Lori was especially precious to you and grieving is OK... we are there for you whenever you need us... in cases as these, it is difficult, if not impossible to find the right words to express our feelings, but you were part of all four (of us) lives for so many years... we do not need to say more than what we have shared on a daily basis for the last number of months while our Queen was fighting and you were supporting and encouraging her.
