Dear Kathy, Karen and family,
I am so very sorry for the recent loss of your mother. For years, your mom was a familiar sight to me walking past our house at 32 Paperbirch Dr. on her way out to Lawrence Ave. And, in the not so distant past, she used to stop and chat with my father when he was out doing his yard work. No doubt they connected as long-time neighbours on the street. I have to tell you, both of my parents liked your mom a great deal. And, Kathy, can you believe how many years have passed since our days at Overland Dr. Public School and Don Mills Collegiate? And what about those long-gone days serving at Thompson House?
In the difficult days yet to come, may your love for one another and your memories of happy days with your mother help you heal.
Karen Smith (and sisters, Wendy and Susan)

My uncle, Keith Cribb, just told me of your mothers passing. I just wanted to send my condolences. It's difficult to lose your mom. I know.
Nina was a good friend to mom and I know she enjoyed your moms company. Take care of each other and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

We have been away for a period of time and found out that she had died when we got home. Pat played bridge with Nina, and Boa was always happy to see such a faithful member of the 8 o'clock group at church. Our sympathy and condolences go out to the family. We will miss her.

Adding my thoughts and condolences to all the rest...to the Wetselaar and Honickman families. I loved talking philosophy and political science with Nina, so many years ago. She was a very special person.

Dear Kathy and Karen, Lorne, Asher & Haana, Lara, Frank, Rebecca & Mike and Daniel … Heartfelt condolences on the loss of your precious mother and grandmother. Our parents frame our families and when they are gone, the picture is never quite the same again. They are impossible to replace but the imprints they leave on our hearts, will last for generations. Nana was a truly lovely woman. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all those who were lucky enough to know her. Sending love, strength and courage to help see you through the difficult days ahead.

Dear Kathy, Karen, and Family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of Nina.
She was a loving and generous person. I will always remember
fondly our days at Ryerson together and the annual Christmas
get togethers on Paperbirch.
She loved her family and spoke often of Kathy and Lorne, Karen
and Frank, and of course her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was so proud of you all.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Tim Mulvihill
