I was a classmate of Ann's in McGill Law School. A fellow "mature student", along with Ann I had the privilege and pleasure of experiencing and enduring law studies at our advanced age. We were a cohesive group of older students who arrived at law school with varieties of degrees, talents, personalities. Ann was quiet,gentle, graceful, even-keeled, soft-spoken, and I personally adored her British accent and her degrees in English lit!
Viresh has told me of Ann's death and I am truly sorry. Certainly it was premature; as I read about her professional career and see her pictures, she was clearly in her prime. I had not known that she had fallen ill.
She will be remembered very fondly and will be missed.
