I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. I remember Rose from Simcoe days in the 70's where she offered up a welcoming home on Sunset Drive from which a group of friends explored Norfolk county in a white Dodge, swam in the neighbours' pool, listened to the Beatles' white album for hours in the room downstairs and to organ music played by Ian Madge late Friday nights in St.James United Church. I have a memory of Rose driving Andy and Chris to Simcoe Composite School one morning. They were in a rush. Rose's car broke down and she had us all in stitches as she told us the story of talking to the tow truck driver in front of the post office on Union Street in her flannel nightgown, robe and slippers. I remember her as warm, fun, always on the move, and absolutely devoted to her three sons. May she rest in peace.
