Roy was the first person I worked with upon joining Ontario Hydro in November 1981 and became one of my very closest friends. He was the social convenor for our work group from the very beginning to the very end. Roy was a true gentleman and was well-liked and well-respected by everyone who knew him. He is sorely missed.

Roy was one of the first people we met when we moved to OLPH and he really did so much to build and document the community there with his pictures and profiles in the newsletter. Our son Andrew often uses one of the collages Roy made as a placemat at the table. He always had a welcome for our family at church. We saw him just last week, and are saddened to hear this news. He will be missed, and his absence will leave a big space in our parish community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Etsumi. Kelly and Jon Cescon
