<p>Peacefully and with dignity at Kensington Gardens on Sunday 26<sup>th</sup> of February, 2017. Born in London England, Penny came to Toronto, via Scotland and Australia and settled in 'The Republic of Rathnelly' in the early 1950's. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Marjorie, siblings Anne, Michael and Rosemary and niece Tessa. Dear Auntie P to nephews Julian, Rhydain and Charles. Honourary family member and dear friend to many in Canada, United States, England and Australia. Penny worked with Upper Canada College and the University of Toronto, in various Faculties, the last one being Music, a love of hers. A great knitter, avid reader, always active in charitable causes (IODE, Humane Society, COC, ROM and SPRINT) and traveler. Thank you to the Major East staff for their attentive and wonderful care, especially on her last journey. A celebration of a life well lived will take place on Thursday 9<sup>th</sup> of March at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue). No flowers please. A donation to an Arts program would be appreciated by the family.
