With a kind heart, he lived a life full of fun and was known for his laugh (which you could hear rolling across the water in Muskoka from several bays away), his bow ties (preferably red), the occasional cigar, his fedora, and knickers on the ski hill (right up in to the last decade). Billy loved nothing more than to humourously pontificate on many subjects while surrounded by his family and friends at the ski cabin or the cottage. General Manager and guardian of the Food Terminal for many years – a true passion for him - and President of Canada Vinegars prior to that, he was a proud graduate of Ridley College, Bishop’s University (Gaiters tackle, upstanding member of the AOFB) and Western Business School. The family would like to thank his caregivers from CCAC, Paramed, and Lorna MacDougall and Dr. Amy Freedman from from St. Michael's Outreach. Private service has taken place as per his wishes and an event to toast his life will be held in the spring of 2017. Donations in his name may be made to the the Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice. Condolences, photographs, and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com if desired.
