From Richard and Carol Preston I met Paul when my brother Bob and I went to Toronto to work. We both became good friends with him He loved the outdoors and he would often come home (down to the farm) in Roslin with us. He married our sister Jonny (Jacqueline) and we all kept in close touch with each other, getting together whenever we could. We had great times together, fishing, hunting and chumming around together. He was the best friend a guy could have. He would do anything for anybody. He was kindhearted. (Richard) Andrea, we are so sorry for your loss. We have so many memories of our families together. Love Uncle Richard and Aunt Carol

Our Dear Brother, Uncle and Godfather Paul is finally at rest and Peace and reunited with his loving wife Jackie, family members and friends. I can see them all having a toast together to welcome him home! We are all saddened by his loss but find comfort in the fact that he is free of pain and suffering and finally celebrating with loved ones! He had a smile and a kind word for all that had the Honour of meeting him. We will remember him for his sense of humour, decency and courage. We are so Blessed to have had him in our lives for as long as we did. Every year except recently he came to the cottage to celebrate Karl's Birthday. He was a favorite visitor to our family, especially the many dogs and cats. I can still hear him saying "Shelby, you bring me back my socks!". for little Shelby loved to steal his socks so he couldn't leave. He always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. We were regaled with his many hunting trips and fishing stories. He was an avid Boater and loved to snowmobile and of course "Ice Fish". He never sat still except to catch up on his favorite sports' teams. He will always be remembered with love. "I have loved thee with an Everlasting Love". Jeremiah 31:3 He was a Gift from God and it was our Gift to have him in our lives. Live, Love and Laugh was the way he lived his life. He may be gone but he will stay in Our Hearts the rest of our lives. All our Love, Karl, John, Susan, Tyler, Shelby, Kitty and Freddy!
