I knew Rauni from our aquafit classes and I thought she was just wonderful. We had some great conversations as we splashed alongside each other, and I found out a bit about her life, past and present.
It was clear to me she was an active, buoyant and avidly curious person. I was impressed that, one of the oldest members of the class, Rauni seemed to have such a busy schedule of sporting and cultural events. Plus she looked fabulous!
I will think of her next class with great fondness, and some sadness, and maybe kick up my heels in the pool a little higher.
My condolences to her family and all her many friends.
